We serve a full continental or English breakfast on the patio, overlooking our attractive tranquil garden. Enjoy to the song of many varieties of South Africa's birds.

Oudtshoorn, the Ostrich feather capital of the world, sheltered between the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountains. Enjoy it's pleasant clear and sunny winter climate, and its delicious summer and winter fruits.

Choose to visit a variety of Ostrich show farms. The brave and daring can test their skills riding an ostrich; the meek and mild can learn fascinating facts about the world's largest birds and taste the meat and eggs.Standing as relics of the feather Barons era, are a number of beautiful palaces such as Pinehurst and Welgeluk. The local Museum, filled with relics depicting the history of the feather industry, the contributions of the local Jewish community and the town's history, are worth a visit. So is a visit to the "Town House." Fully furnished in the style of the early 1900s, and "Arbeidsgenot", the home of CJ Langenhoven - A famous South African writer and poet of days gone by.

30km to the north are the Cango Caves with its spectacular formations shaped over millions of years. Tours are conducted daily on the hour, throughout the year. The Caves complex includes a restaurant, curio shop, museum, and even a self-service creche and kennel for baby and pet.On the way to the Caves, visit "Cheetahland" with its timber suspended walkway across mesh enclosures housing lion, cheetah and jaguar. The "Wilgewandel" Camel Riding complex is also along the way and can be visited daily. The Prince Albert, the Outeniqua and the awe-inspiring Swartberg Passes, fairly close to Oudtshoorn, offer enjoyable drives. More places of interest will be pointed out to our guests, on arrival.
