Woodbourne Holiday Resort is were you can relax and have a holiday in a private estate only 5 minutes walk from the famous Knysna Heads. True country ambiance within a 5 km drive from all the amenities of Knynsa itself.
The surrounding area is famed for its beauty, with coast, mountain and forest walks in great variety, miles of unspoilt beaches, excellent sea, rock and river fishing, lagoon and deepsea cruises, the famous Choo Choo, and with golf, tennis, squash, bowls clubs
closeby, all happy and eager to welcome visitors.
Woodbourne Holiday Resort adjoins a private vlei which is a waterbird sanctuary so special that it attracts migrant waders from as far as Siberia.
Each Chalet is individually designed, with a bathroom (shower/bath).
There may be a double bed or two single beds in the lounge area.
The chalets are equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove, colour
tv (SABC & E-tv), toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. Each unit
has it's own stoep and braai. Bedding is provided, but you are required to bring your own towels and dish cloth. Chalets are not serviced.
Braaing facilities with each chalet enables you to enjoy the outdoor pleasures of our surroundings in privacy.

General:
No animals or boats are allowed, not even small ones.
The Resort is a private estate, in a beautiful 'park-like' setting
with grass and Milkwood trees, that was once part of George
Rex's large farm - Melkhoutkraal. The resort is on George Rex Drive 1km before you reach the famous Knysna Heads. We are 6km from Town Centre and the Waterfront. Leisure Isle,
Tidal lagoon (safe for children) is 1km from us and we are next to a bird sanctuary. There is also a playground for children on the Resort and swimming pool.
Chalets:
Each chalet is individually designed, and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove, colour tv (SABC & E-tv), toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery. As well as it's own stoep and braai.
Bedding & towels are provided.
Chalets are not serviced.
Camping:
A maximum of 6 persons (baby's count as a person - even if they are free) per site, one caravan with side tent and one vehicle.
No plastic ground sheets are allow.
Ablutions have hot water 24 hours a day.
There are scullery and laundry basins in the ablution area.
Each site has electricity.
